Sourcing and customized products

ieS LABO favors short-circuit sourcing of plants, which it then transforms into extracts, some of which can be traced right back to the plot, thanks to a direct, privileged relationship with our producers. These partnerships are long-term commitments with a guarantee of quality raw materials.

More generally, our selection of suppliers is based on CSR and product quality criteria. We give priority to local or French origins when plant cultivation permits. We do not use protected plant species listed in the CITES convention, and we respect the Nagoya protocol on access to genetic resources and the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from their use by not conducting R&D activities to identify new functionalities in cosmetic applications.

Our selection of raw materials and our business expertise enable us to offer our customers quality extracts, manufactured in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice 22716/2007 and compliant with cosmetics regulation 1223/2009. These extracts are available in conventional or organic grades, and in different types of solvent, lipidic or aqueous/semi-aqueous.
